It's probably a well-known Dutch tradition already, called Koningsdag (Kingsday). As you've read on my previous post, it was the perfect day to go to a dance festival in The Netherlands. Everyone wears orange, all people are in a crazy mood and all you have to do is party along and get crazy with them. And of course that's what I did too.
On my previous post I've recommended many festivals with genres like house, electronic, and techno and I've visited one of them: Kingsland in Amsterdam RAI. I've seen Martin Garrix, Oliver Heldens, Fedde Le Grand, Headhunterz, Hardwell, Dannic, Quintino, Ummet Ozcan, Pep & Rash, Gregor Salto and even more!
Koningsdag ( KINGSDAY ) house & techno & electronic events
Kingsday: a day Dutch people celebrate their king's birthday. It used to be queensday, but since the previous queen crowned her son king, the date and name have been changed. So what do the Dutchies do on that day? First of all: they don't go to school and shop owners close their stores, because everywhere you go a massive party will take place! The tradition is that the King and Queen visit one of the towns in The Netherlands to join their festivities. Every town has festivities, such as street sales and (typical Dutch) games / performances.
It doesn't matter how old you are, there is always something amazing to do on this day. Even the Dutch greatest DJs stay in Holland. You might guess it: it is THE day for a perfect festival or dance event. Now I've sorted out the best House, Electronic ánd Techno festivals for you. Check them out! The Netherlands... My favorite place to go out. I love Dutch DJs, Dutch people and the clubs. So are you ever planning on a trip to The Netherlands? Then you should definitely try these foods and drinks which are very popular in The Netherlands. You can't even get some of them in many other countries.
Since today I, Tasja Artmanni from www.ginatha.com, have a new e-mail address. This is now email@example.com. The previous one was firstname.lastname@example.org, but because Chantal has resigned, I needed a new one.
These days have been very busy with exams and it takes a lot of time. Once this is over I will write you a lot and I will be available for new assignments! In meanwhile you can follow my posts on Facebook and Instagram and you will be up to date. :)
Want to give a house party? Make sure you do a good one, cause nothing is more embarrassing than a bad party which people will remember and gossip about for the next couple of years... Now, these are my bad experiences at house parties. Let me write them down for you and take them as advice!
