Review and photoshoot: Ralph Lauren coat

Tasja Artmanni by Andrew Greening

Ralph Lauren

---

Hello everybody!

Last December I bought the parka from Ralph Lauren, the Lauren collection. I was in Amsterdam looking for a jacket or coat to get me through the winter. This coat wasn't particularly warm, in fact, it's more of a spring coat. However, when I saw it for the first time I was absolutely obsessed with it.

My size was not in stock that day, so I had to buy it online for the same price of €239,-. You can't find this parka on the Ralph Lauren webshop anymore, but if you live in The Netherlands they are still available on this link: click here

I like how the coat has a sort of jacket inside, like a two-in-one item. The jacket has a zipper and the coat can be closed by press-studs. There are two side popper pockets and a zipped pocket above the left side of the chest. One press-stud already broke off my pocket.

The quality of the fabric is good, even though one press-stud fell off quickly. It's waterproof, it feels great and it's beautiful. I've never sweat in this coat, but I wouldn't suggest it as a winter item. Unless you wear a very warm sweater underneath it.

In December, after I bought this parka, photographer Andrew Greening shot some amazing photos! These images were taken at the station of Santpoort-Zuid.

Love,
Ginātha
